HOW WE WORK
Therapy at Blue Sage Counseling & Wellness is structured, collaborative, and oriented toward long-term change rather than short-term symptom relief. I work with adults seeking psychotherapy for anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, and life transitions who are ready for consistent, ongoing care.
My approach is depth-oriented and relational, focusing on the emotional, relational, and nervous system patterns that shape how we think, feel, and relate. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may integrate insight-based, somatic, and relational work.
This practice operates as a private-pay, out-of-network model designed to support continuity, depth, and integration over time.
The pace of therapy is collaborative and responsive, grounded in safety and readiness rather than urgency.

MEET ASHLEY
I’m Ashley Francis, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with nearly twenty years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults. I specialize in depth-oriented, relational therapy for anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, and major life transitions.
My work is informed by attachment theory, nervous system-based approaches, and integrative psychotherapy. I often work with adults who are high-functioning on the outside but feel stuck, disconnected, or self-critical beneath the surface—especially those who have tried therapy before and are looking for deeper, more sustainable change.
I believe meaningful healing happens through consistent, collaborative work within a safe therapeutic relationship. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, therapy is a space to slow down, understand patterns, and develop greater emotional regulation, insight, and connection over time.
