Meet Ashley Francis
Therapy with Depth, Structure, and Humanity

I’m Ashley Francis, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly twenty years of experience helping adults move from feeling stuck to living with genuine resilience.

But my work isn’t only academic.

I know firsthand how heavy anxiety can feel.

I understand the quiet weight of depression, the pull of perfectionism, and the complicated dynamics that come from growing up in dysfunctional systems.

I know what it’s like to wrestle with body image, addictive patterns, and the deep hesitation that comes with asking for help.

And I know how vulnerable it feels to sit across from someone and wonder:

Can this person really hold me?

That lived understanding shapes the way I practice.

You won’t find a passive observer here. I am deeply present, engaged, and invested in the work we do together.

My Clinical Philosophy

I believe real change is not just a shift in perspective — it’s a shift in your nervous system.

Many clients come to therapy highly insightful, yet still stuck.

We don’t just analyze patterns; we work to change them at their root.

In our work together, I balance warmth with directness. I will challenge you when needed, but never at the expense of safety.

Progress requires both regulation and courage.

We move beyond surface-level coping to address the deeper causes of anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational patterns.

This is structured, ongoing work designed for lasting change — not temporary relief.

Why I Work This Way

Over the years — both professionally and personally — I’ve seen how easy it is to mistake insight for transformation.

You can understand your patterns.

You can name your wounds.

You can explain where it all began.

And still feel stuck.

What creates real change isn’t just talking about your life. It’s staying with it long enough to shift the deeper patterns — the ones wired into your nervous system, your relationships, and your sense of self.

I work in a depth-oriented way because I’ve witnessed what happens when people are given a steady, consistent space to do real work. Not rushed. Not performance-based. Not surface-level.

Healing requires repetition.

It requires safety.

It requires challenge.

And it requires time.

I’m not interested in quick fixes or temporary relief. I’m interested in helping you build resilience that lasts — in your relationships, your body, and your daily life.

That’s why our work together is intentional, ongoing, and grounded in meaningful change.
