Discover the root of your worry by examining the past and recent events that have influenced false negative beliefs (i.e. I am not good enough, not smart enough, not attractive enough, etc).
Specifically identify the false negative beliefs about yourself that simply won’t seem to go away and identify the barriers as to why they remain.
Practice redirecting and replacing the false negative beliefs with positive beliefs both in-session and in between sessions through the use of therapy homework assignments and journaling.
Review your progress weekly or bi-weekly making revisions as necessary.
